Independents swept Edmonton’s city council. A court struck down the separation referendum petition over Treaty rights. Emergency Health Services’ rebrand got scrapped within a month of being announced. More than 400,000 Albertans signed to stay in Canada, and more than 200,000 signed against coal mining in the Rockies. None of it happened on its own — every entry on the timeline is dated and sourced.
